I love finding old things in books.\u00a0 Like my pals at Forgotten Bookmarks<\/a>, I’ve decided to share some of the neat ephemera I find.\u00a0 I’ve been doing this for years, actually, and making card collages of ephemera in a series I call Lost in a Good Book.<\/em> So here’s to a new format for that series.<\/p>\n

Today’s feature is a nice art book titled John Marin by John Marin<\/strong><\/em>, edited by Cleve Gray (Holt, Rinehart and Winston, 1977, first edition).<\/p>\n

Art is not great
\nMusic is not grat
\nIt’s just that they tickle us.
\nThat’s the trouble with t e personal God i\u00a0 all the religions.
\nThey have\u00a0 ade him without a chuckle.<\/p>\n
