Children's
book
Something random pulled from my duplicates and bargain holdings, a
Landmark history series book, or an old Little Golden Book.
Consider it a
surprise.

AMERICAN HERITAGE
American Heritage Magazines were
lavishly produced hardcover volumes of great Americana stories and
history. Great writing, nice illustrations, in coffee-table
presentation style. I won't kid you that they have great value or
anything, but there are some who collect them, and they are fun to look
through and read the articles!

Stump
the Bookseller entry
By popular request, one of the freebies is a free entry on
the
Stump the Bookseller site! Silly me, I thought since you guys are
so good at solving stumpers that you wouldn't have stumpers of your
own.
I should know better, though, why do you think I created this site in
the
first place? Directions: Submit this form, then use the
"Back"
button on your browser to come back here and follow this link. |

BIBLIO
Magazine
This magazine was a short-lived project in the late 1990s. Alas,
it is now defunct, but I have some extra issues here and the articles
are
still relevant, interesting, well-written and informative. Novice
and seasoned book collectors alike can find something of interest in
one
of these issues. |
Cleveland
Couples
40 Inspiring Stories of Love and Commitment by local author Kathy
Dawson.
The couples profiled in this book run the gamut from Cleveland
celebrities
to average joes. It's a sweet and touching tribute to these
couples,
as well as to the city of Cleveland, without being mushy or
pie-in-the-sky.
These are real people. New hardcover book.

Winter Holiday Sampler
All seventeen of the stories in this
anthology take place between the beginning
of Advent and Twelfth Night, and all are set in Regency England. There
are
stories about the winter solistice, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year's
Eve, and
Twelfth Night. In The Unexpected Guest, when Colonel Cameron
delivers
military dispatches to Oakwood Manor, he hopes for a steaming bath and
a hot
meal before he leaves. He gets much more than he bargains for -- or
dreams of
-- because Lady Sophia has other ideas concerning this very attractive
military
man. As new paperback.
