The book was a children’s book about an escaped pet bird who befriends a shabby zoo lion. There may or may not have been the word “moon” in the title, or as part of a word in the title. Unfortunately that’s all I can remember. Thank you.

Is it all the little boys stuffed animals and they walk into the zoo or escape from the zoo and crawl into the bed with the little boy? Maybe a different book, don’t remember the name but it definitely has the word zoo in it
I’m afraid not, the bird belonged to an elderly lady and the lion lived at the zoo.
