This is a book about a witch (or a haggard lady) the illustrations are drawn in pencil but they’re really graphic and detailed. Her house is a mess and you feel like a voyeur seeing it. I read it in the early 90’s

I was looking for a similar book for over a decade until part of the title came back to me. I’m not sure, but you may be looking for The Wacky Book of Witches by Annie Civardi and Graham Philpot; it was published in 1991 and is no longer in print from what I can tell.
