326H: 1800’s Children On Father’s Whaling Ship

I am in search of a book about two children, Jason and Miranda, who sail aboard their father’s whaling ship, possibly out of New Bedford or Nantucket in the 1800s. Black and white line drawings, probably published in the 1950’s or before.

just now saw this…for some reason wasn’t notified. thank you! I hope this is it…the description and dustcover didn’t seem quite right (I don’t remember Miranda being whiny) but the names are right so have ordered it. fingers crossed!
