You can peruse the first 17 years of these archives on the <a title=\"Solved Mysteries\" href=\"http:\/\/www.loganberrybooks.com\/solved.html\" target=\"_blank\">Solved Mysteries<\/a> and the <a title=\"most requested\" href=\"http:\/\/www.loganberrybooks.com\/mostrequested.html\" target=\"_blank\">Most Requested Books<\/a> on Loganberry Books&#8217; website to see if any ring a bell (and we highly recommend this).\u00a0 You can also type some keywords into the search feature at the top right of this Stump the Bookseller blog to see if any queries here look similar to yours.<\/p>\n<p>If you think you remember the <i>title<\/i>, or a part of it, enter it into a used booksellers consortium such as <a href=\"http:\/\/used.addall.com\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Addall, <\/b><\/a><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.abebooks.com\/servlet\/SearchEntry\" target=\"_blank\">ABE<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vialibri.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">ViaLibri<\/a><\/b> or try a card catalog system like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loc.gov\/catalog\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>The Library of Congress<b> <\/b><\/b><\/a><b><b>or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldcat.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">WorldC<\/a><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldcat.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">at<\/a>.\u00a0<\/b><\/b><\/b> Sometimes one unique key word on your part or a scant description from the search results can help you identify the book.\u00a0 Yeah, <a href=\"http:\/\/google.com\" target=\"_blank\">Google<\/a> can be helpful, too.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re still stumped, here are some tips for submitting your query:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Use specific details:<\/strong>\u00a0 Approximate publication year, guesses at the title, character names, quirky plot descriptions are all helpful.\u00a0 Just knowing that this is a big red book with pretty pictures isn&#8217;t enough, so rack your brain for some details.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Give your Book Stumper a title:<\/strong>\u00a0 This can be a fraction of the title, character name, or plot element.\u00a0 Limit this to 3-5 descriptive words.\u00a0 For example, &#8220;Cranky Cat&#8221; is easier to remember, and more intriguing to read, than, say, &#8220;Children&#8217;s picture book about a cat.&#8221; \u00a0 Your Book Stumper will be posted under this title.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Send payment:<\/strong>\u00a0 After receiving the nominal fee (via PayPal or check), your Book Stumper will be posted on our site.\u00a0 Any comments, questions, or solutions will be listed in the comments section of that post.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keeping Track:<\/strong>\u00a0 As new Stumpers come in, your Stumper may be pushed off the front page.
