I have been searching for this book for so long with no luck. \u00a0Unfortunately, I don’t remember the title.<\/span><\/p>\n

I got it when I was in elementary school in the 1970’s. \u00a0It was probably published early to mid 70’s. \u00a0I got it through one of the school’s reading program catalogs, so it may be a Scholastic book or another company like that. \u00a0My best friend and several other students also purchased it. \u00a0It was a Halloween book. \u00a0It was about school students who have a young, pretty new teacher come to their school. \u00a0Her name was Miss – something. \u00a0Maybe Miss Grey. \u00a0(I don’t trust my memory that far though.) \u00a0The students think there is something odd about her. \u00a0She wears a big, wide-brimmed hat. \u00a0Of course, she’s suspected of being a witch.<\/span><\/p>\n

The book was a thin paperback. \u00a0The illustrations were pencil drawings\u00a0in black and white. \u00a0That’s about all I’ve got on it. \u00a0It was such an unusual story and I’ve never seen the book again. \u00a0Wish I knew where my copy got off to. \u00a0Probably gave it away when I felt I was too old for children’s stories… \u00a0geez…<\/span><\/p>\n

When I search online, the later 80’s series about\u00a0“Miss Nelson” pops up, but that is not it.<\/span><\/p>\n
