Received as 11th birthday gift from my grandmother in 1974.<\/p>\n
Title was simple and had something to do with a girl.<\/p>\n
Something with a somber feeling.<\/p>\n
I never read it.<\/p>\n
I kept it for almost 40 years and then gave it to a niece.<\/p>\n
No one can place it.<\/p>\n
My grandmother was fluent in French so after doing some research I decided it was Nobody\u2019s Girl, the french translation, but in a google image search none come up with the same look that I recall.<\/p>\n
The pages may have had gold tint on the edges, but maybe not.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s all I got.<\/p>\n
