Lestrade was deeply troubled or haunted by it, because he was close to the victim.<\/p>\n<p>The author wasn&#8217;t Doyle. The book might have been an ebook, a regular book or a story that was independently published. It wasn&#8217;t fanfiction.It wasn&#8217;t by M J Trow.
