{"id":6799,"date":"2019-09-05T15:43:57","date_gmt":"2019-09-05T19:43:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w1.loganberrybooks.com\/stumpthebookseller\/?p=6799"},"modified":"2019-09-06T10:08:05","modified_gmt":"2019-09-06T14:08:05","slug":"331a-russell-raccoon-discovers-wonderful-world-of-daytime","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w1.loganberrybooks.com\/stumpthebookseller\/331a-russell-raccoon-discovers-wonderful-world-of-daytime\/","title":{"rendered":"331A: Russell Raccoon Discovers Wonderful World Of Daytime (Solved!)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This was a favorite book of my children in the 70&#8217;s and 80&#8217;s and I made the motherly mistake of giving it away, so would dearly love to find a copy.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think Russell&#8217;s name was in the title.<\/p>\n<div>Russell Raccoon was not like the other raccoons.\u00a0 He couldn&#8217;t sleep in the daytime and fell asleep at night when his gang was out scavenging\u00a0 One day when he couldn&#8217;t sleep he wandered out of his home to discover a whole wonderful world of daylight.\u00a0 \u00a0He met a little boy with whom he became friends.\u00a0 There was a delightful picture of Russell riding on the back of the boy&#8217;s tricycle.\u00a0 When the boss of his raccoon gang, Emma Jean Smudge, found out what he was doing she hit him on the head with her purse and told him to stay away from humans.\u00a0 Picture of that was very funny.\u00a0 One day when Russell went to visit his friend, the boy brought him inside his house and showed him the bedroom that had been made for Russell, complete with a little bed with his name on it.\u00a0 Russell decided to move in with the boy.\u00a0 The last page of the book shows all of Russell&#8217;s group including Emma Jean standing in line outside the house door at night as Russell hands out fig newtons.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This was a favorite book of my children in the 70&#8217;s and 80&#8217;s and I made the motherly mistake of giving it away, so would dearly love to find a copy.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think Russell&#8217;s name was in the title.
