{"id":7182,"date":"2020-03-03T12:58:49","date_gmt":"2020-03-03T17:58:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w1.loganberrybooks.com\/stumpthebookseller\/?p=7182"},"modified":"2020-03-03T12:58:49","modified_gmt":"2020-03-03T17:58:49","slug":"336q-brigands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w1.loganberrybooks.com\/stumpthebookseller\/336q-brigands\/","title":{"rendered":"336Q: Brigands"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>I wish I had something more for hints, but this query comes for a book I believe was published in the 1930&#8217;s. \u00a0Had it been in the 1940&#8217;s I would have been able to read it myself, and I don&#8217;t think I ever could.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It was hard backed but not more that a half-inch thick, all black and white. \u00a0Illustrations included stick figures or possibly pear-shaped bodies (inverted?) with stick arms and legs.\u00a0 These figures or characters were called &#8220;Brigands&#8221; and were bad. \u00a0I have no idea what the title may be.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>There seem to have been two stories in the book. \u00a0It&#8217;s possible one was &#8220;Ferdinand the Bull,&#8221; but that may be a merged memory.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>That&#8217;s all I&#8217;ve got and I really don&#8217;t expect anything. \u00a0You&#8217;d have to be older than I am with a marvelous memory.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I wish I had something more for hints, but this query comes for a book I believe was published in the 1930&#8217;s. \u00a0Had it been in the 1940&#8217;s I would have been able to read it myself, and I don&#8217;t think I ever could.
