{"id":7307,"date":"2020-04-20T12:44:40","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T16:44:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w1.loganberrybooks.com\/stumpthebookseller\/?p=7307"},"modified":"2020-04-20T12:44:40","modified_gmt":"2020-04-20T16:44:40","slug":"338p-eggs-eggs-everywhere","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w1.loganberrybooks.com\/stumpthebookseller\/338p-eggs-eggs-everywhere\/","title":{"rendered":"338P: Eggs, Eggs, Everywhere"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m looking for a book I had as a child in the late 70s, early 80s.<\/p>\n<div>It wasn&#8217;t a children&#8217;s book.\u00a0 It was a weird small paperback coffee table\u00a0book doodle book.\u00a0 I think it was called &#8220;Eggs!&#8221; or &#8220;Yolks!&#8221;\u00a0 It was white, and 5 inches tall, and 8.5 inches wide.\u00a0 The cover had drawings of anthropomorphised eggs.\u00a0 Basically the whole book was just drawings of eggs or egg yolks caricatured into people.\u00a0 So two yolks would be walking a yolk dog, with a yolk sun, and yolk egg people walking around.\u00a0 The artist drew the yolks in such a way as to make the yolks pointy into the shape of a nose, with little black line eyes.\u00a0 The entire book was only black ink with yellow ink, on white pages.\u00a0 I can&#8217;t find it anywhere.\u00a0 One drawing had an egg yolk carrying an umbrella, and the umbrella was made out of a runny egg, with of course a yolk.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>All of it was ridiculous, but I want to find a copy, so I don&#8217;t feel like I&#8217;m crazy, and just imagined a segment of my childhood.\u00a0 I need to find this book so I don&#8217;t think I have a whole set of made up memories.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve tried countless Google searches, and I am stumped for terms to look up runny yolk art?\u00a0 It&#8217;s definitely not Gudetama.\u00a0 It&#8217;s much older and outdated.\u00a0 Thank you for your help.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m looking for a book I had as a child in the late 70s, early 80s.
