Jacqueline Little "The Narrative of the Life of Theresa: Memoir of Marriage"
Saturday, October 8, 1:30PM
Join us at Loganberry Books with author Jacqueline Little and her new novel The Narrative of the Life of Theresa: Memoir of Marriage.

A book of fiction, but a painfully true story for far too many women and especially African American women!

Will Theresa Carter, a Christian woman who is accomplished in her professional life, finally live out the biblical principles concerning love, sex, and marriage that she claims to embrace? She looks the part, but will she be the part? Her story might change the trajectory of your own life story as you develop a relationship with this woman who desires to be all that God called her to be - like so many Christian women.

Karen Cacioppo "Swiping for Love in all the Wrong Places"
Sunday, October 9, 3:00PM

Join local author Karen Cacioppo as she discusses and signs copies of her memoir Swiping for Love in All the Wrong Places!
Swipe right for love, swipe left for hilarity, and turn the page to learn about the mayhem of dating.
In Karen Hermann-Cacioppo’s dating memoir Swiping For Love in All the Wrong Places we are taken on a whirlwind adventure filled with restaurants, travel and, most importantly, a dreadful series of men who just don’t fit the bill for a successful relationship. These men, the “Chad’s” of our lives, go from the benign to the outright scary but Hermann-Cacioppo continues her search for love despite its pitfalls.
At times you will scratch your head at the oddity of the human race including Boop Guy, who boops her nose after every word she says, the singing uncle who seems to show up at every date, and the token guys who drink too much and lose their manners. You will be able to relate with our dating tour guide as she travels towards love, and will even have you sharing your own stories before you know it. We will learn how she keeps swiping for love at every turn even when disaster strikes, and she is forced to run in heels back to reality.

Karen Herrmann-Cacioppo is a Product Marketing Manager, mother of two amazing children, and author of Swiping For Love in All the Wrong Places. She was raised in a suburb of Chicago, relocating to Cleveland, Ohio in 1988 where she still resides today. Karen attended Central Michigan University on an athletic scholarship and received her BA in Journalism. Her passion to share and document her experiences led her to write about her yoyo dating experience, or as she refers to it the “Karen Snowball.” When Karen is not out on the dating scene she loves watching soap operas, spending time with her kids and snuggling with her dog — glass of wine in hand.

Lauren Persons presents "What Happened to Chester"
Sunday, October 16, 1:00PM

Join Lauren Persons and her illustrators, Noah Hrbek and Lydia Whitehouse for a signing of her debut kids picture book Lost But Found: A Boy's Story of Grief and Recovery, as well as her most recent release What Happened to Chester?: An En-deer-ing Tale of Hope and Healing.

Persons will read from her new book What Happened to Chester?: An En-deer-ing Tale of Hope and Healing, which is illustrated by Hrbek and Whitehouse. The trio will engage in acting scenes out of the book with children and sign copies of the book.

Rory, an adventurous, take-charge young girl, meets her match in Hobblety Wobblety - Chester McDeer. She soon learns that her friend can jump over any obstacle, despite his disability, and make a big difference to family and friends. Colorful, fun illustrations make the journey delightful for kids young and old.

The book is for kids roughly in the age of 8–11 years. Interesting and important themes covered in the book include animals, social issues, special needs, self-esteem, and self-reliance.

“As a teacher, I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages. They have taught me as much, or more, than I have taught them. Their innocence, imagination, and tell-it-like-it-is style makes life an adventure, not a chore. As the author of What Happened to Chester?, I want kids to take away a love of nature and, most important, the knowledge that nothing needs to stand in the way of them becoming their very best selves.”
