314Y: Lestrade Gets Holmes to Visit the Scene of the Crime

I am looking for a book, possibly found on Google Advanced Book Search or Amazon, where Lestrade called Sherlock to come to a house (which could have been on Camden Road), to visit the scene of a crime, where one of his men had disappeared for almost a day, then reappeared as a murder victim. Lestrade was deeply troubled or haunted by it, because he was close to the victim.

The author wasn’t Doyle. The book might have been an ebook, a regular book or a story that was independently published. It wasn’t fanfiction. It wasn’t by M J Trow. It also wasn’t Sojourn by J L Hazen, the Trials of Sherlock Holmes by James Moffett, the Smiling Judge by Mary Fantina, the Confidential Casebook of Sherlock Holmes by Marvin Kaye, Holmes Away from Home (Vols I-II) by David Marcum and Mark Mower or the MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories Pt II by David Marcum and Mark Mower, although the plots are close!

If anyone could help me find this book, I would greatly appreciate it! 🙂
