I’m almost sure you mean “Randy,” by Jack Thomas, who wrote all these incredibly lurid books about teens addicted to drugs & other excessive, awful situations, early 70’s- mid-80’sThe things you mention in this description definitely happen to poor Randy! My friend & I were obsessed. I’m amazed anyone else remembers!
