This is a children’s book from the early to mid 1960’s. It is slightly taller than it is wide ; a little taller than a Golden Book. I remember the cover illustration as having the color green in it. It is not a hardcover but a laminate. The pair ride from country to city.
I remember the cover illustration as having the color green predominate, and depicts the mother and son on a station platform.
This could be “All Aboard” by Daphne Davis, illustrated by Leonard Shortall, a Storyland Book with laminate cover published in 1963. The cover is green with a train. The first page depicts the mother and son (and daughter) on a station platform. It’s about a train trip from country to city.
Yes, this is the book. I found a picture of it on the net and recognized it.
I’m very satisfied and THANK YOU very much !!!!
