I am looking for a children book I had in my childhood all I remember is that there was a peeking mouse on a hole on a wall, an old man, a cat and a bathtub. The old man was in the bathtub. The art was amazing almost vector style. I was maybe 5 or 4 when I had this book I wish I remember its title I know it was vintage between 1960 to maybe 1978 I had this book in the 80s.

I think this might be the book I’m looking for. I had it in the late 80’s. There was an old man in the tub, and I think he was holding a big scrub brush. He was bald on top. At one point he got out of the tub and was running in his robe and slippers. I seem to remember the general theme being safety? There was a fire in this apartment building, a flood (or overflowing bathtub), and one part where these kids stick a paperclip into an electrical outlet. Maybe that was what started the fire.
