Looking for information on a 1980s/90s sci-fi/horror short story about a man who emits pheromones that make people attack him romantically. He always has to stay on the move in public. Thought it was Stephen King or Poppy Z. Brite, but cannot find it.
It’s not “The Age of Desire” by Clive Barker
It reminds me of the ending of “Perfume” by Patrick Suskind, but that’s not a short story. Hmm. It rings a faint bell for me too.
I think it was in a short story compilation book that also had a tale of someone with vaguely super powers hunting serial killers along an American highway.
SOLVED: “Midnight Graffiti” anthology edited by Jessica Horsting
