All I can remember is it was a short teen to preteen chapter book. The main boy character somehow associated with Canada geese and I think rides around the neighborhood on his bike. I hope this is enough.

Long shot, but maybe ‘The Fledgling’ by Jane Langton.
Wild Geese Flying
by Cornelia Meigs
I wish I could say this was rushing back memories but it is not. I am not sure if it’s not the book or if I simply cannot remember it. If it’s not the book then this one is very close. I went ahead and picked up a copy to see if reading it will bring more memory back. If this is the book or if it’s another one, the geese idea is definitely in it but not part of the main plotline like this book sounds. After I get a chance to read it I will try and remember to come back here and update the group.

The Canada Geese Quilt by Natalie Kinsey-Warnick?
Perhaps “Then Again, Maybe I Won’t” by Judy Blume?
This reminds me of the Trumpet of the Swan, but I’m not sure.

Could it be a book about William Lishman? He taught a gaggle of geese to fly south.
Here’s a book about him from Google: Father Goose: One Man, a Gaggle of Geese, and Their Real Life Incredible Journey South.
I don’t know if that one’s exactly it, though.
