Seeking a children’s book with characters named after phrases and who act like the phrase.
It was around in the 80s, but I’m not sure if it was old or new then.
I seem to recall there was a beach, but I’m not certain about that.

364G Could this be the Thurman Publishing series called “Mr Men/Little Miss”? They had bright characters with names like Mr Noisy, Mr Clumsy, Miss Bossy, Miss Helpful. The characters each had stories they were in sometimes interacting with other Mr/Miss characters. They behaved like their namesakes.
