I realize that the content is probably available online; it is the book itself I can not figure out.
I do not know the value of this paperback book without a publisher name, only a logo. (SEE BELOW)
My father, a WWII veteran, had it.

There’s another copy, same 1885 reprint, currently on ebay for $55.
Bookfinder(dot)com gives two possible copies, simply enter the title ‘Merry Muses’ and restrict the date to 1882 to 1887 in the advanced search box.
There were various reprints of this work e.g. Edinburgh 1884 and 1886. I have found no details on possible publishers.
