Looking for a children’s/teen book from when my mom was growing up (1955-1970ish) called Queer Company. I don’t know a lot about the story except it’s about restoring someone or something. Really looking to at least find out the author. Thanks!

There’s a story called “The Queer Company” included in a collection by Carolyn Sherwin Bailey called “Firelight Stories: Folk Tales Retold for Kindergarten, School and Home.” That’s from 1927.
