The book is titled “The Wonderful Fashion Doll” and was written by Laura Bannon, published 1953. I loved it as a child and was lucky enough to find it at a library book sale for $0.25 about 20 years ago. Some are for sale at Abe books online for hundreds of dollars. I wish some publisher would publish it now. I think it would still have appeal for doll loving girls of all ages.
