178A: Cool Cars from 40’s or 50’s
As a child I was gifted a hard cover picture book, written in the late 40’s or 50’s. It contained wonderful pencil-drawn illustrations of sleek and aerodynamic autos of that era. They were drawn from the perspective of a child viewing from a sidewalk in a busy city. I do not recall the name of the book, or even the story, but I have vivid memories of the drawings.

140B: A Yukon Adventure (solved)
I am trying to locate a book for a friend. The title is not known and it was probably published in the late1940’s or early 1950’s. Some Disney friends went looking for gold in the Yukon and ran into Peg-Leg Pete. While trying to escape him one of the friends shook hands with a totem pole and a trap door opened up to save them from Peg-Leg.
139B: two girls whose names both start with P – maybe Polly and Patty
The book is probably from the forties and is about two little girls who are best friends and almost like twins. I distinctly remember that they wear blue checked dresses or aprons and I remember a scene involving one of their cellar doors.
