1940s?? Children’s Christmas book about forest animals scattered during a forest fire..a little critter is separated from his mom..kidlet ends up in tree house with other critters…pedlar arrives selling stuff…comes back Christmas day with kidlet’s mom. I think kidlet lost a mitten in the fire??
A 1950’s or 60’s children’s christmas book – a drawing of snow , a small bridge over a stream, a house in the back ground – a rocking horse in the window. I think it was about the rocking horse for Christmas. Almost looked like a hard cover Little golden book.
A children’s book about a bear who works for/meets Santa Claus. The end of the book involves the bear somehow (accidentally?) breaking a rainbow, which falls in pieces on top of a Christmas tree thus creating ornaments.
Looking for a Christmas book, it was a burgundy color, the edges of the pages were gold along with the writing on the cover and square-ish (if I remember right), and had a collection of stories like “Twas the Night before Christmas”. Thanks for helping.
I am trying to locate a book I had as a child. It’s about a little girl named Katie who accidentally breaks a church stained glass window. Her guardian angel follows her around in the book, cleaning up her messes, and of course, now the window. My parents kept it with our Christmas books, so it may talk about Christmas in the book.
