I am looking for a young adult book, dating back to the mid 1930s, with 12 chapters. Each chapter is devoted to a famous woman named Mary–Mary Queen of Scots, Mary Tudor (Bloody Mary), Mary Lyon and 9 others. The cloth bound volume was blue.

338L: Boy in India Who Gathers Orchids to Buy Books
Please help me find a book I read 30+ years ago. The plot is about a young, very poor boy in India (I believe) who gathers rare Orchids to sell to a rich white (I believe) woman. With the money he earns, he is able to buy books. The books are rare and precious treasures to him. Every time he finds a rare orchid she buys it and he hides his money under his sleeping mat until he has enough to buy a book. I will try to remember more if possible. Thank you, this is a book that has stayed in my memory and I wish to find and read it again.

338I: Kids trapped in house, chased by a mummy and Anubis
I am looking for a children’s book I read between 1985-1988. Maybe a scholastic book. It had a dark yellow paper back cover. It was a mystery book. It was geared for the 3rd to 5th grade crowd.
It was about a boy and a girl (siblings maybe) that were trapped in a house. There was a mummy and a statue of Anubis that came alive and chased them around the house. The whole book took place in one night
Please help me. I have been going crazy trying to remember!
338H: English girl falls in love with the boy next door, eventually (Solved!)
338G: WWII Bookmobile (Solved!)
This is a YA book. A recent library school graduate (or Lib. School student doing internship) wants to work in big public library but is assigned to rural bookmobile. Set during WWII. Published: 1950-1980s??
338F: Big Nate, Little Nate
I am almost positive the book’s title is Big Nate, Little Nate. I cannot find it so I could be wrong. I have been stymied in my searches because after this book was published, the Big Nate series by Lincoln Peirce came out and most searches end with those books.
The book I’m looking for I read to my son in the late 80’s or early 90’s but it could have been published much earlier. It is about a young boy who wants to do everything like his father. It is set in the old west. The one thing he doesn’t have is a pair of overalls like his father. He has to wait for the travelling peddler to make his rounds to their town to get the desired pair of canvas or denim overalls.
It may be out of print. The newer Big Nate book series seems to eclipse most attempts at searching for it.
